সোমবার ওআরএস দিবস উপলক্ষে টুইট করলেন মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। এদিন তিনি টুইট করে জানান, আজ ওআরএস দিবস। স্বল্প খরচে সুস্বাস্থ্যের জন্য ওআরএস (ওরাল রিহাইড্রেশন সল্ট) এর গুরুত্ব অপরিসীম। উল্লেখ্য, একিউট ডায়ারিয়া শিশুমৃত্যুর অন্যতম কারণ।
মুখ্যমন্ত্রী আরও জানান, বাংলায় গত আট বছরে শিশু মৃত্যুর হার প্রতি হাজারে ৩২ থেকে কমে ২৫ হয়েছে।
